Abdourahmane Sy

Abdourahmane Sy has developed extensive expertise in corporate taxation and international tax matters, advising multinational groups and investors on cross-border tax issues across Africa. His experience covers corporate income tax, transfer pricing, tax compliance, tax audits, and the tax structuring of international operations.

He has a strong background in managing complex tax projects for international groups, including tax reporting and closings, corporate restructurings, technical tax analysis, and interactions with tax authorities. He also advises clients on tax risks arising from cross-border transactions and supports multinational businesses in achieving compliance while optimizing their tax position.

Before joining FACE Africa Tax & Legal as International Senior Tax Manager, Abdourahmane gained professional experience within major international companies in France, including Europcar International, Groupama, Cegid, and MAIF. He holds a Master's degree in European and International Taxation from Aix-Marseille University and a Master's degree in Tax Law from Toulouse Capitole University.
